Able to open any GUI for a split second while in a Nether Portal

The Bug
You are able to open a chest for a short second and see the UI while standing in a Nether Portal.

Replicate

Stand in a Nether Portal
Open a Chest
Notice that it opens and brings the the Chest UI for a second
