When I start Minecraft and put log i it says missing texture and then it quits out the app

Ok when minecraft was lagging, I quit the game, but when I tried to start it again the bottom of the minecraft menu, where you log in it is black and not brown and doesn't say minecraft, but the button are still there. So when I pressed log in it did log in but after that it said missing texture pack in black letters. T
