Trident with Loyalty disappears when hitting a mob

The trident , enchanted with Loyalty, does not return to the player after hitting a mob. To be honest, I didn't try without Loyalty. Players who want to play on this version, DO NOT THROW YOUR LOYALTY TRIDENT AT A MOB!
