Thrown tridents disappear after hitting and damaging a mob or entity

Whenever a trident thrown by a player hits another mob or entity, it disappears entirely. The typical behaviour is that the trident will bounce off the mob it hits to be picked up again, or return to the player that threw it if enchanted with Loyalty. However, in either case, the trident vanishes as soon as damage is dealt to the entity it hit.
