Rain visible through leaves when picking up items

Rain is visible for a few frames when I picked up an item

What I expected to happen was...:
Rain would be shown behind the leaves

What actually happened was...:
Rain was shown as if it was in front of the leaves

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Plant a tree
2. Mine the logs
3. Pick up the logs while looking up at the leaves during rain
