Lectern Not doing it's job.

Hi Mojang. I was using a lectern and connected Redstone. Whenever I flip a page, either next page or previous page, the Redstone turns on for a nanosecond, then it turns off. it gets really annoying.

I hope you can do something to fix this bug!
