Pillagers spawning without crossbows when spawned with a spawn egg

I was testing out the new snapshot when I tried to spawn a pillager to get it to fight a piglin, I held down on the mouse to rapidly spawn pillagers all in one block (when you click on a mob with a spawn egg in order to spawn baby mobs). I held down the button mouse button and began spawning pillagers, the first pillager spawned with a crossbow but the others spawned without crossbows and just aimlessly wandered around. I was in the nether at the time so I’m not sure if that had anything to do with it. I doubt this was intended and hope it gets patched, Thanks.
