When I start my game its just a white screen with sound

hey,

I just downloaded minecraft but when I want to play it it gives me a white screen and the background sound of the game.  If I press on the screen on some places it gives me the sound that I did something ( the clicking of a button ) but there still doesn't happens anything. what do I do wrong??
