Powered rail disappears after being dragged from the side of a Honey Block

I was playing around with Slime Blocks and Honey Blocks and noticed that when a powered rail gets dragged from the side of an Honey Block it disappears and doesn't drop.

How to recreate: Build something like the picture shows and try it for yourself.
