Charged creepers that have been named can still despawn

On a realm, we used a trident with chanelling to create a charged creeper, which we then named gary. gary was inside of a secure box with no holes in it. we noticed a bit later that gary had disappeared. there was no way for this creeper to get out of the box, as it was sealed on all sides.
