switching to creative from survival keeps mobs agro at you

When you're under attack from mobs and you switch to creative from survival, the mobs are still agro at you.

What I expected to happen was...:
For the mobs to lose interest in me, duh.

What actually happened was...:
The mobs kept attacking me. 

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Be in survival
2. Agro mob(s)
3. Switch into creative mode
