Choppy Block Hitting

I was flying around hitting blocks with a sword in creative mode and it glitches your view back as you fly. This doesn't work in survival, probably because it only happens when I'm flying. When I hold down left click with an item in my hand that can't break blocks (a sword), my game lags back in a way. It's not major but I'm sure it can be fixed relatively easily. Thanks

What I expected to happen was...:
Smoothly fly across world while holding left click

What actually happened was...:
Choppy gameplay and "lag back" vision.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load a world and go into creative mode
2. Hold an item in your main hand that cannot break blocks when in creative mode (such as a sword or trident)

3. Fly around while holding down left mouse while aiming at blocks.
