Nether portals can stay lit underwater

You can get a lit nether portal in water, as long as you don't light it in there. Video only showing this bug here. If the video is not there that means it is still publishing.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Build a nether portal
2. Surround it in water

The nether portal is not broken by the water, and it remains lit.
