storges boxes grayed out lost all content

was on my friends realm sever when i alt<tab the game seemed to dc me which i thought was normal but on my return the house i was inn all the storage boxes and furnaces are now un able to open and now the weeks work ive but in is now gone to waste would love to hear back woth options
