Baby Animal's Glitch through Transparent Blocks (Fence, Iron bars, etc) upon Relog in SSP and SMP

I feed the animals their corresponding food, and the baby animals appear, however when I log off and log back on the baby animals glitch through the fences/other transparent blocks and escape.
