Water not registering

Updated my world from 1.14.4 to 1.15.2. water didn't register properly and acted like air. So crops soil fried out and fish flaps in the bottom. I was able to fall through the water. When in water was unable to see, similar to blindness effect and breath meter didn't appear able. Was still able to interact with water with a bucket and place water. Objects also feel to the bottom instead of floating up to the surface as if the water wasn't there.
