Lingering Ghost Lights

Glitched light lingers after a red stone lamp is turned off and the only way to get rid of it is by placing a block at a ghost source somewhere random near the light. It doesn’t happen ever time or in every place I use the lamps. The light lingers till you you leave the world/server and come back or you place a block at the new random light source somewhere near the original lamp.
