I can't login with my Microsoft account on Minecraft to crossplay

What I expected was that the Microsoft account would link to the ps4 bedrock edition of Minecraft and I would be able to cross play what happened was that the account failed to link and I can't crossplay to trigger the bug you would have to make a Microsoft account and then try to sign into Minecraft
