When I write an "a" the Text gets deleted (1.13 and above)

When I write an "a" in the Chat the message I'm writing (if I didn't send it) gets deleted. Sometimes the bug just disappears but when I have the bug it also happens, that when I press backspace the whole word I wrote disappears.
I didn't find anyone at the internet with a similar problem.
