Iron Golem Spawning

I created an iron farm and I built around it. I placed stone walls on top of the blocks but the iron golems can still spawn on the block beneath. They also spawn on glass, carpet, and slabs. They will spawn on the block beneath it causing them to "phase" through the wall/slab/glass.
