Blocks disappearing

I have minecraft pocket edition updated to the latest version and the blocks around me have been disappearing. Wood blocks, slabs, ladders, and cobblestone have been disappearing. It’s been happening for a while now with a few blocks disappearing but now it’s gotten to the point where A LOT of the blocks around me disappear
