can't join a multiplayer server

I was able to join minecraft servers but when i changed my name to "cursed_cake_boy" everytime i would join a server it would say "not authenticated with minecraft.net" in white color and wont let me join any server only on hypixel it has a different message it says "failed to authenticate your connection!" in red
