Escape Menu Glitch

Whenever I play Minecraft, my browser randomly goes to the escape menu. I drag my mouse to the "resume" button, but when I click it, my mouse goes back to its original position. I click again and I get out of the escape menu. But this keeps happening. Can someone please tell me how to fix this?
