Dirt Soil Bug

I was creating a farm and I placed every vegetable properly and everything worked fine. When I logged into the world today, I couldn't replace grown vegetables with new ones, some dirt blocks allowed me to replant the seeds and some blocks didn't. I tried relogging and replacing blocks with new ones then placing dirt blocks again but I still can't place seeds.
