Game crashes when opening inventory

No matter what server I go on (multiplayer, single player, old server, new server), whenever I try and open my inventory, the game either crashes or freezes, requiring me to force quit the application.

My game would freeze even before this, but this is the first time something like this has happened. The game has crashed/froze over 20 times due to the inventory alone.
