Podzol generated from giant spruce trees is not snowy if it has snow above it

The bug

Podzol generated by growing giant spruce trees is not its snowy variant if generated under snow.

To reproduce

1. Grow a giant spruce tree near snowy grass
2. View the side texture of any of the newly generated podzol with snow on top
   → The side texture of the podzol appears as though it doesn't have snow on it
