Blocks across chunk borders dissapear in peripheral vison

What I expected to happen was...:
All parts of the screen, at any FOV, should render.
What actually happened was...:
if blocks across a chunk border are in the corner of the players vision, they won't be rendered.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Stand directly on a chunk border
2. Turn the player head until the rendering stops working properly
