Blocks in inventory still not properly shaded

After Issue 162518 was resolved, the shading on blocks is still too bright and inconsistent compared to 1.14 and below. The north face being darker is fine, but the side face in GUIs is far too bright. For example, I rotated the shield to the side face, and it looks weirdly bright compared to how it did in 1.14.4. This is seemingly true of all blocks/models.
