Main menu doesn't stop fire animation

If you see a mob that is on fire and go to the main menu (pause the game), the fire animation of the mobs doesn't stop.
Works in singleplayer only as in multiplayer the game won't be paused if you go ton the main menu.
Works with F3+Esc as well (pause game without having the Esc menu)
