Bees not dying with /kill

Summary

What I expected to happen was...:
/kill @e[type=minecraft:bee] will cause all bees to die

What actually happened was...:
Bees in the beehive manage to survive in /kill

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place bees, beehive and flower.
2. Wait till the bee or bees to go in the hive
3. Use /kill @e[type=minecraft:bee]

4. Wait till the bee or bees to come out

5. BUGGED
