Holding left click with sword in creative makes strange movement

I found out that while holding left click (Mining) with a sword your movement seems to get more "choppy".

This happens in both 1.14 and 1.15

 

How to do this visual glitch:

Go on creative world, hold a sword of any type, hold left click with the sword held on a block and start walking.
