Iron Golems Only Attack some of the time

What I expected to happen was...:
I thought the Iron Golem would attack

What actually happened was....
It didn't attack any hostile mob I put in there. It would only attack sometimes when I hit it and sometimes when it was hit by the mob.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just put an Iron golem beside a hostile mob.
