Changing Versions:

When I installed minecraft on a different laptop. I went to change the version from version 1.14.4 to the 1.8 version but it wouldn't let me change it because from some reason the drop down menu will not work. I tried to uninstall then reinstall but that had not affect on the problem. Please get back to me as soon as possible
