IndexOutOfBoundsException while loading near End city portal

Issue appears to be on the client side as the server doesn't seem to report any issues. 

Working fine until I approached the end city portal on the main end island, then the game saved and closed itself and gave me a crash report indicating that it high an out of bounds exception while rendering a block entity.

The game crashed whilst rendering block entity
Error: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 16, Size: 16

This continues to happen every single time that I try to reopen the game, it will look like it starts to render and then the exit with the crash report.
