Chest Donkey despawns after lead broken

Steps to reproduce:
1. Tame a wild donkey in SMP
2. Apply chest to donkey
3. Attach donkey to lead
4. Attach lead to fence
5. Ride donkey away such that the lead breaks
6. Dismount the donkey
7. The donkey may or may not despawn
