Chunks Failing to load causing game to crash

Had a random chunk just reload as air, fell into it, suffocated and died. Couldn't reload world

What I expected to happen was...:
World would reload

What actually happened was...:
Wrong Location error due to items in my inventory after my death

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a chunk load improperly
2. Fall in and Die
3. World now will not load
