Beacon beam is faint when standing inside

Hi, when I stand inside a beacon beam the beam becomes very faint. I have attached a screenshot(It might be a little hard to see the beacon lines in the screenshot).

 

How to reproduce:

Activate a beacon

Stand on top of beacon, look around(Be sure you are in the beam).

You will find a very faint beacon beam
