Bugged Armor Drop Allows Me To Duplicate The Armor With Ctrl Right Click

I built a skeleton-based experience factory and received lots and lots of armor and item drops. I noticed that a certain enchanted gold chest plate would not relocate when I used shift right click on it. Not wanting to invest in upgrading something that may break, I separated it from the others. I later opened it's box again to wonder at it and observed that if I pick up the armor and ctrl right click on an empty square, a copy is created in the square. To test whether this really means it can be duped, I made a batch of them and restarted Minecraft. They are still there.

I checked all of my other armor and bow drops to see whether any of them were similarly bugged. I checked probably 200-300 bow and armor drops and have not found any other bugged items.
