MC-165208Text and other UI elements are completely black when being affected by night vision and the void/blindness simultaneously
The bug
Items in inventory, subtitles, background, chat, notifications on the screen and game menu are completely black when you have the night vision effect and you're below Y=-64 or when you have the night vision effect and blindness effect at the same time .
The fact that's the world is completely black is MC-4647.
How to reproduce
There is two possibility to reproduce this bug :
- Give the night vision effectÂ
/effect give @s minecraft:night_vision
- Teleport below Y=-64
/tp @s ~ -65 ~
Or :
- Give the night vision effect
/effect give @s minecraft:night_vision 70
- Give the blindness effect
/effect give @s minecraft:blindness
