Head Texture Glitch

I have three wither skeleton heads laying around in my mountain home, and the texture would change to a regular skeleton head even though it isn't that. I'd destroy it and place it bad, and the glitch would be fixed.
I'm in 1.5.2 version, in a mountain biome, I either play on creative or survival when building big projects.
