Immediate crash upon opening a world

As soon as I open a new or old world, the game closes out and a "Windows is checking for a solution to the problem" for Java crashing unexpectedly window shows up. I've tried redownloading the launcher, adjusting my in-game and computer settings yet still the problem persists. I could find out how to give you the console if you need it. Thanks in advance!
