redstone torches not activating pistons

In the new snapshot introducing honey blocks I found that red stone torches were not activating pistons, I did not see if it would activate on sticky pistons (i was using plain pistons) but I could if you want me to.. thanks sorry if the bug is only for me I haven't tried it on a different PC/account.
