[MC-164873] White Screen - Game still runs

This affects all versions of minecraft. This is a fresh install on a new laptop. The laptop has 2 different GPUs, when I set minecraft to run from the default GPU, everything runs just fine. If I set it to run from the better, dedicated GPU (gtx 1050 ti 3gb vram), the screen remains white when the mojang logo should be showing, sounds still play normally and it is possible to click things, so the game is running, but not displaying.
I have tried the following:

Reinstalling minecraft (twice)
Reinstalling drivers for both cards
Reinstalling java

Included is the launcher log, latest log, and a screenshot of minecraft at the time, sounds can be heard and clicking will select things in-game.
I've spent about 4 hours looking into possible solutions thus far, outside of the workaround of using my worse, on-board graphics card.
