Bees not animating their pollen gathering

As the title says, I've noticed bees aren't doing their little spin animation that they do when they collect pollen.

The gif provided was recorded in a new, clean world (I forgot to turn my texture pack off, oops). I will say the gif had to be sped-up and had about 2 seconds worth it taken out because it was making the file too large and it took far too long to show the Bee was in-fact gathering pollen. 

How to reproduce:

1. Make new world
2. Find/Summon a bee
3. Either watch them hover over a flower they find OR plant one down yourself
4. Behold the bug?

It feels like a pretty insignificant thing to report, but I hadn't seen anywhere that said the animation was removed intentionally (Unless I missed it!)
