The bug with the pickaxe

What I expected to happen was...:
that I can double up the diamond if I destroy it and then throws the pickaxe away.

What actually happened was...:
if I did this then I could break the diamond with my hand, then it comes back so the ore came back and if I toke the pickaxe then the diamond broke

Steps to Reproduce:
1. choose any pickaxe
2. destroy stone
3. but before the stone break you must throw the pickaxe away                                                      4. the block comes back and then you must take the pickaxe                                                           5. the block will break after you collect the pickaxe
