Translucent Beds

From certain views, the red-sheeted bed looks translucent in the latest snapshot. I have included two other pictures where the beds DO NOT appear translucent to show that it does indeed only appear translucent from certain angles. Is this intended?

I started in Creative, but have been switching to Survival via cheats.

As far as I know, this doesn't affect the functionality of the bed, so I expect it to be classified as "Low".

I did a brief check for a similar issue, but I found nothing.
