Spawn Eggs have greyish tint to them

I was messing with spawn eggs when I noticed they had a greyish tint to them.

Replicate

• Be in Creative
• Get a Spawn Egg out
• Look at it (The ones I used where Endermite, Mule, Slime, Shulker)
