Sign texts get blacked out when using Programmer Art

If you look at the sign at a specific angle, the text will get blacked out.

 

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Place a wall sign facing north and put some text on it.
2.  Go about 64 blocks away and reload all chunks.
3. Look at the sign far away(16 blocks) at -55.0 angle and text will black out.
