Java SE crashes when on multiplayer servers

I will be playing in a multiplayer/singleplayer map when suddenly the game turns to a pale blue screen. The message Java SE Binary has stopped responding appears. The game then proceeds to crash. It has led me to be killed multiple times. In my task manager, it shows 2 instances of Minecraft being run at the same time.

I need a fix ASAP.
