Witches Don't Spawn In Huts (Dark and Hard mode)

Witches won't spawn in my witch hut, I made a trap with spawning pads with them, and even when I'm on hard and its night, Witches don't spawn. I changed from 1.4 to the 1.6 snapshots with 1.5 in between, and I haven't seen anything. So, yeah.
